How to activate AGPO account

AGPO is an acronym that stands for (Access to Government Procurement Opportunities) a program which was started in February 2012 with aim to promote the participation of youth, women, and persons with disabilities in government procurement.

This is the process to activate your AGPO account in Kenya 2024

  1. Registration:

    • Ensure that your business is registered with the relevant authorities.
    • Obtain the necessary business registration documents.
  2. Eligibility:

    • Confirm that your business qualifies for AGPO. Typically, AGPO is for youth, women, and persons with disabilities.
  3. Documentation:

    • Prepare the required documents, such as identification documents, business registration certificates, and other relevant paperwork.
  4. Visit AGPO Portal:

    • Go to the official AGPO portal. As of my last update, the AGPO portal was managed by the Kenyan government.
  5. Create an Account:

    • Register for an account on the AGPO portal. You may must provide your business details and upload the necessary documents.
  6. Fill in the Application Form:
    • Complete the AGPO application form with accurate information about your business.
  7. Submit Documents:

    • Upload the required documents as per the instructions provided on the portal.
  8. Verification:

    • The submitted documents and information may be verified by relevant authorities.
  9. Approval:

    • Once your application is reviewed and approved, your AGPO account will be activated.
  10. Login and Access Opportunities:

    • After activation, you can log in to your AGPO account and access government procurement opportunities.
